Screen is green when I connect my Wii to my monitor?

I’m trying to connect my wii to my computer monitor. I purchased the wii component cables and then connected those to a coupler and that to a component to VGA adapter cable and plugged that into my monitor. The image pops up, but it’s green. Strong blues and reds will appear to be there (like the netflix icon looks reddish for instance) but I really can’t figure this out. I switched out the coupler and cables for new ones just to make sure it wasn’t those but still no luck. I’ve also tried it on a different monitor and it’s the same problem.
What pin? I said I’ve replaced both the coupler and the vga/component cable adapter. Plus I tested the component cables on another TV and it works fine. And I’ve tried the adapter on another monitor it it too was green.
