The 1950’s established the mag as more than just another “girly” publication, with fictional contributions like Walter Tevis’s “The Hustler” and Ray Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit 451.” Artist Leroy Neiman’s (search) “Femlin,” a cartoon vixen, “enlivened the Party Jokes page.”

According to Ray Bradbury Online, this book was first published in 1953 and gives no mention of a Playboy printing. For some reason, I was thinking of something by Asimov or Clarke, but since I didn’t subscribe to Playboy back then and neither did my father, I have no way to check it out. Have you checked the Playboy website to see if they have this kind of information on line?
