According to Ray Bradbury Online, this book was first published in 1953 and gives no mention of a Playboy printing. For some reason, I was thinking of something by Asimov or Clarke, but since I didn't subscribe to Playboy back then and neither did my father, I have no way to check it out. Have you checked the Playboy website to see if they have this kind of information on line?

The 1950's established the mag as more than just another "girly" publication, with fictional contributions like Walter Tevis's "The Hustler" and Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451." Artist Leroy Neiman's (search) "Femlin," a cartoon vixen, "enlivened the Party Jokes page."

From:

A serialized version of Fahrenheit 451 appeared in the March, April, and May 1954 issues of Playboy.
